Part of the fun of uRadiate is that you can feel confident you’re meeting the right person before you meet them face-to-face. And when the time comes to go on the first
date, here’s some safety advice:
- Before you meet someone in person, don’t provide any personal or sensitive information other than a cell phone or email for contact purposes.
- It’s a good idea to chat on the phone before you meet to get an initial gut sense of who the person is and what he/she is like.
- Meet in an open and public place where there are lots of other people around.
- Provide your own transportation.
- If you have a cell phone, keep it with you, particularly on a first date.
- Tell a friend or family member where and who you are going out with.
- Keep it simple. This date may lead to a relationship, but it may turn out that you’re not right for each other. Try not to fall head over heels before you’ve met in
person.
